EZReboot EZReboot is a tool I created that allows you to schedule regular reboots of your PC, with an easy to use interface. No complicated options or cumbersome menus, but rather a clean simple to use tool that can AutoStart with Windows, sit in the system tray, and reset the PC at regular intervals. |
To close the Setup screen, click the X button on the Setup screen, and the EZReboot Setup screen closes and the small triangle icon remains running in the system tray. |
When you run EZReboot for the first time, a blue, green and red triangle icon gets placed in the system tray. To begin setting up the program, right click the triangle icon and pick Setup. |
From the Setup screen you can tell by just a glance, if EZReboot is enabled or not, what the current time is and what the current reboot schedule is. |

To have EZReboot launch with Windows, right click the triangle icon in the system tray and choose AutoStart with Windows. That is it! The next time you reboot your PC, EZReboot will AutoStart without you having to perform any extra steps. |
EZReboot is 100% Free for personal and commercial use. If you find EZReboot useful, please consider making a $5 donation to allow me to continue making great PC Utilities |
What I thought could be useful, was to have the tool AutoStart with Windows, so that each time Windows launched, EZReboot launched along with Windows, so that the reboot schedule would be ready to kick in automatically at the right time without having me to manually launch the EZReboot program, assuming EZReboot is enabled.. |
The next time you right click the triangle icon in the system tray, a check mark will be beside the AutoStart with Windows option indicating that this option is currently enabled. If you wish to disable EZReboot from launching with Windows, simply click the AutoStart with Windows option again, and the check mark will disappear indicating that EZReboot will not AutoStart with Windows |
Downloading EZReboot requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or higher to be installed on your PC prior to using EZReboot. If you are using Windows Vista, you already have what you need to run EZReboot. If however you are running Windows XP, you need to visit Microsoft's web site and download the .Net Framework 2.0 or higher install package. |
Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or higher |
By placing a tick beside the Edit Reboot Schedule, you are able to create a reboot schedule for your PC. You can choose to have the PC reboot once per week at a certain time on a particular day or you can have the PC reboot Everyday (by picking Everyday for the Day value) at a particular time. Once you are happy with your reboot schedule, make sure you click the Save Config button so that your selection is saved. If you need to prevent your PC from rebooting during your supplied schedule, un-tick the EZReboot Enabled box. This will cause the EZReboot application to go to sleep and ignore the reboot schedule until you re-enable the EZReboot program again by placing the tick mark back inside the box. |
Please note that in order for the EZReboot program to perform it's reboot tasks, the program needs to be running. if you accidently exit the application and no longer see the triangle in the system tray, please relaunch it to enable the reboot schedule |
